Brexit turmoil causes Labour, Tory election losses

Both the Conservative and Labour parties suffered devastating losses during local elections in the UK. Most votes went toward Liberal Democrats and Greens, and independent candidates won over 500 seats. Ballots did not include Nigel Farage’s new Brexit Party.
