BG19NBX - MGIF - Overtaking a Cyclist Positioned for a Right Turn

My position in the road should tell the driver of this car that
I intend to turn right, either at the upcoming entrance to Lidl,
or at the roundabout at the end of the road.

The driver should have held back and waited rather than
getting in front just to pull to the left to take the first exit at
the roundabout, where I arrived just seconds after this driver.

Instead, I can't held thinking this is a case of ...
"there's a cyclist - I must get in front"!
