Collectively, there are four plug-in vehicles on the Transport Evolved fleet -- and we use them as our daily drivers. But up in Washington state, our very own Kate Walton-Elliott is struggling to buy a new plug-in car to replace her aging 2003 RAV4 EV.
While the car itself is just fine, a lack of public inductive charging infrastructure (a standard that's completely deprecated by the auto industry) means that Kate and her partner are now looking for a new plug-in car.
They've decided that the Hyundai Kona Electric and Kia Niro EV would be good candidates -- but buying one is proving a lot harder than it looks.
