In this video Stan tests an organic and a conventional apple for amount of nitrates, a chemical which accumulates in fruits when a chemical fertilizer is used. It's not always true that organic produce has less nitrates, we've seen quite the opposite, as the environment (soil, water, air) where the product is grown and the transportation conditions play also an important role in nitrate levels in food.
