The 2019 NFL draft is almost upon us. And this year, unless your name is Kyler Murray, it’s not a great class for quarterbacks.
It’s all about defensive linemen, especially pass rushers, in this year’s draft. Murray is the top QB prospect, but after him, there are plenty of question marks and red flags among the other signal-callers. Not only that, but there just aren’t that many intriguing QB prospects that have the skill set to be a starter.
That being said, a handful of teams really need to use one of their selections on a new QB. Some of them need to find a successor for their ageing quarterbacks, while others simply just need a fresh start at the position. And then there are those who could use a reliable backup.
